Peter Y Davos

Ukasha completed his undergraduate degree in Business with full-honors from the University of Manchester, UK. He then pursued his Masters Degree from Dartmouth College, US, on scholarship, where he served as an Honorary Admissions Ambassador, and his public policy thesis was nominated for the Byam Thesis Excellence Award.

After having worked in an Assistant Instructor capacity at Dartmouth, Ukasha continued his work as an educator and counselor all over the world, including the UAE, China, and South Asia. He has worked as an Educational Consultant for several years in the UAE and his students have secured acceptances to CalTech, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Columbia, Boston University (Trustee Full Cost of Attendance Scholarship), Tulane (Global Scholars Scholarship), Georgia Tech, Oxford, and others. Ukasha also assists with postgraduate admissions, and brings a wealth of localized insight and experience, having worked with over 200 UAE students, to the Hale Team.

Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Human Biology with a double major in Media Studies from Emory University, where he received the full-tuition RW Woodruff Scholarship. As a high school applicant, he secured over $260,000 of merit aid across several scholarships, including the National Merit Scholarship. During his time at Emory, he worked at the Emory Writing Center assisting international students applying to university and graduate programs to create compelling essays. He was also deeply involved in the refugee community in Atlanta, Georgia as a summer school English teacher and cultural liaison for newly arrived refugees. After graduation, Jackson taught English full-time at a private academy in South Korea prior to joining Hale.

As a Senior Counselor, Jackson has mentored over 200 students and excels in helping STEM oriented and visual arts students secure acceptances to leading US programs, including multiple successful applicants to Carnegie Mellon for Computer Science, UC Berkeley for Aerospace Engineering, and Stanford. He has helped students secure over 10 Ivy league acceptances. Jackson has the unsurpassed ability to help STEM students turn their ideas into social impact and tell their personal stories through a unique and compelling lens.

Meghan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and after graduating, she moved to Brazil to teach English and study Portuguese. After returning to the United States, she managed the international student office at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, assisting both outgoing study abroad students and incoming international students. This served to deepen her understanding of international student life in order to better assist students transitioning both culturally and academically.

She moved to Dubai in 2019 and worked as Director and Counselor in tutoring and supported students achieve their academic goals across various subjects and age groups. A gifted mentor and writer, who places tremendous emphasis on personal growth, social impact, and community engagement, her students have consistently secured acceptances to their top choice programs in the US, including at Stanford, leading liberal arts colleges, and across the Ivy League. As a Hale Senior Counselor and lifelong educator, she shares a deep commitment to helping students identify outlets for their extracurricular endeavors, external structured learning, and personal passion projects.

Sam completed his BA (First-Class Honours), MA (Distinction), and PhD in English Literature in the UK from the University of Surrey. For his PhD, he was the recipient of an Arts and Humanities Research Council scholarship. His doctoral thesis explored a range of social, cultural, and political responses to climate change, work from which he has published in leading academic journals. For various other academic projects, including a placement at UT Austin, he was the recipient of more than £100,000 of funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, UK Research & Innovation, and the British Council. own research symposia which brought together academics and artists from across the world. Sam has taught at schools, English language teaching centres, and lectured at universities in the UK and US. His research has been published in leading peer-review journals, as well as high impact collections designed to communicate innovative academic work to general readerships.

As the UK University Admissions Lead on the Hale Team, he has helped over 100 students secure acceptances to Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial and other Russell Group universities. He excels not only in assisting students with UCAS applications, but in building strong extracurricular and academic experiences and narratives to maximize their admissions chances. Dr Sam also assists students with conducting independent research, collaborating with local and global professors, and preparing their findings for publication. Sam also assists with graduate admissions and his students have been accepted to multiple Ivy League and Russell Group universities for postgraduate study.

Belal Aziz is an accomplished international scholar and a proud recipient of the prestigious Austrian Fulbright award. He pursued an MA in International Relations, Development, and Finance at NYU’s Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies in the vibrant city of New York.

Having lived in the Middle East, Europe and the United States, Belal has a unique perspective on the global education landscape. His passion for community building and organizations, international development, diversity, and diplomacy has driven his academic and professional pursuits.

As a Fulbright scholar, Belal achieved academic excellence and demonstrated a commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration in the heart of New York City. He also worked at the Financial Access Initiative at NYU Wagner, where he developed new grant budgets and built case studies and theme summaries based on field studies on the growth of small businesses (SMEs) in developing countries.

At Hale Education Group, Belal leverages his expertise to provide guidance and support to students applying to the most selective universities in the US and Continental Europe. Students he has mentored have been accepted to IE, Bocconi, ESADE, ESCP, Geneva Business School, University of Amsterdam, Maastricht University as well as multiple Ivy League universities, including multiple Columbia-Sciences Po dual degree candidates. He is an expert at assisting students in navigating complex European university timelines, processes, and requirements, paying particularly close attention to not only building curated college lists, but ensuring that they select the proper programs that will result in the maximum number of offers.

Jamila earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2019, where she also volunteered in local high schools teaching poetry and satire to juniors and seniors. Before completing her degree, Jamila spent a year in Morocco teaching English as a second language, an experience that deepened her commitment to cross-cultural education.

Upon returning to Boston in 2017, she served as a literacy coordinator for an all-girls program. With the support of her team, she helped improve the reading and writing scores of over 100 young girls by implementing targeted literacy strategies in the program. Literacy coordinating led to teaching middle school English Language Arts at a local charter school in Massachusetts until 2025.

During her teaching career, she completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Boston University – further expanding her ability to support students and school communities. While teaching, Jamila spent several summers in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE working as a program director for a U.S.-based leadership initiative focused on developing public speaking and writing skills in students aged 6 to 18. As an Education Consultant at Hale, her students have secured multiple acceptances to UC Davis, IU Bloomington, University of Maryland-College Park. She particularly excels in empowering students through the written and spoken word and is a lifelong educator that cares deeply about her students’ success.

A graduate of Duke University, Yuri earned a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy Studies on a full-ride scholarship. He also studied Political Economy of Development at New College, Oxford, and International Business at Webster University in Switzerland.

At Duke, Yuri was selected as a Student Marshal, one of the university’s highest student honors, recognizing exceptional academic achievement and outstanding service to the university community. He also worked closely with Duke University’s Undergraduate Office of Financial Support.

As an admissions consultant, Yuri has helped students earn acceptances to some of the world’s leading universities, including Stanford, Yale, the University of Pennsylvania, New York University (NYU), UC Berkeley, and Rice University. He has also guided students in securing more than $300,000 in scholarships at U.S. universities, including the prestigious Morehead-Cain Scholarship at UNC.

Yuri’s experience extends beyond admissions counseling. He was also selected for a highly competitive early-career program at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York City, where he interned in the firm’s Asset & Wealth Management division.

Passionate about expanding educational opportunities, Yuri has founded two youth-focused initiatives: Second Chance, which supports children in the foster care system, and Project CID, dedicated to preventing high school dropout. He also received more than $22,000 in funding to attend the Watson Institute in Boulder, Colorado, where he further developed his leadership and social impact initiatives. In addition, he has advised students on extracurricular planning, leadership development, and the creation of meaningful projects that strengthen both personal growth and university applications.

As an Education Consultant on the Hale team, Yuri guides students through the US university admissions process: building strong academic and extracurricular profiles, crafting authentic personal essays, and developing effective scholarship strategies. He also draws on his own research training to mentor students pursuing passion projects.
