This Saturday, Hale Education Group will be hosting its Fifth Annual Ivy Insider, an evening of student panelists and educational professionals who will dispel the myths surrounding college admissions and provide insight learned from proven success in the process.

The first hour will be a student panel featuring some of Hale’s most successful recent applicants. They’ll be covering every stage of the college admissions process and sharing their experiences for all attendees. Then, each of the panelists will join a “break-out room” where students and parents can ask more specific questions regarding any part of the college admissions process. Hale’s own education consultants will also be on hand to ask questions, facilitate discussion, and provide and further explanation or clarification for attendees.

Student Panelists

Invited student panelists will be able to speak to all components of the college admissions process, including high school course selection, standardized test prep and SAT classes, extracurricular involvement, and professional development and exposure. Each brings a lifetime of experiences that has culminated in their acceptances at some of the best institutions of higher learning in the world.

Our students have undertaken vastly different journeys to get to where they are today: bound for some of the top institutions in the US. Each will be able to address the various aspects of the application process in general as well as the specifics behind applying to certain kinds of programs.

In the fall, our student panelists will be attending Stanford, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, UC Berkeley, and Johns Hopkins, among others. These students are planning to study medicine, computer science, engineering, architecture, and international relations and studied in the various curricula available to secondary students here in Dubai, including A-levels, IB, and AP.

Event Details

The Fifth Annual Ivy Insider starts at 6 pm on Saturday, 22 May 2021. The event will be held entirely on the videoconferencing platform Zoom, in order to comply with municipal and governmental public health protocols here in the UAE.
